My smoking

My first episodes with cigarettes took place in a primary school. I can't remember how it happened, but I started smoking at the age of 17. Through 41 years was only one break lasted a year and a couple of times no longer than a week. At the age of 30, I had an operation, and it caused stopping smoking for a year. This addiction was in every cell of my body. I didn't realize my physical addiction thinking that smoking is a habit. I thought that physical addiction to nicotine is very light. I tried many times to cut down on smoking, but it worked only for some time. Smoking and drinking tea or coffee was very addictive behaviour. When e-cigarettes become ubiquitous, I gave a try to combine vaping with normal cigarettes. First approach two years ago was unsuccessful.
Last year I found myself more aware of my physical addiction to nicotine. I bought e-cigarette and combined vaping with a couple of cigarettes daily. More or mess in December 2018 I decided to stop cigarettes remaining only a vaper. The next step was decreasing the contents of nicotine in e-liquids.  I started at 6 mg going to zero that is vaping with no nicotine. It took me six months to achieve a goal. In the meantime, I decided to stop smoking cigarettes and use only e-cigarettes. I experienced a fascinating moment remaining with no cigarettes and nicotine. I knew my body is happy without nicotine after 40 years. I vaped a lot. However, I gave myself permission for that. I noticed that after a couple of weeks no nicotine vaping I needed less and less vaping. My breaks from vaping became longer. One day in November 2019, my e-cigarette got broken down. I talked to myself: Are you ready to go off this device? Do you need a new one?  So, for two months, I am a non-smoking person. I feel so proud and thankful for all help from The Universe to accomplish this goal. It was a revolutionary change in my life.
