In short, we overeat and additionally the wrong products. Our bodies are overloaded with processing unhealthy food. A few years ago I discovered fasting and started using it occasionally. The last few weeks, to be exact 5 Sundays, were unusual for me because I did not eat anything, and only drank water and herbal teas. To be more precise, I ate breakfast on Saturday and in the evening I ate vegetable juices instead of dinner. Sunday is a complete fast. On Monday morning I eat vegetable juices instead of breakfast. In the evening I go back to eating and have dinner. This gives 36 hours of complete fasting and 60 hours including vegetable juices. Fasting is motivating for me and helps shape my nutritional discipline. Currently, I am trying to entirely eliminate gluten from my diet again, one of the biggest poisons and drugs. Gluten is very addictive and that is why it is so hard to stop eating it. I am convinced that one day a week without food has a positive effect on the body and can be used in the long term. However, it is a great challenge.
