In the past, I took lots of sugar. It lasted most of my life to sugar tea and coffee with three teaspoons of refined sugar. At that time I describe I sugared tea and coffee with one and a half of teaspoons. In my mind appeared the ideas about freedom and how my eating and smoking limit it. I discovered and become aware that taking a lot of sugar regularly is an addiction. I began to decrease the amount of taken sugar with my tea and coffee. It took me about two months to eliminate sugar with my tea and coffee. Gradually I got used to the new taste of hot drinks. Now is about a year since I don't sugar my tea and coffee. More or less at the same time, I was guided to notice that caffeine, mainly in tea and coffee is another strong and important drug in my life. I stopped to drink black and green tea because of its caffeine. Initially, I liked to drink fruity tea but quite quickly noticed added flavourings and it discouraged me to buy them. I started to drink herbs like mint, camomile or liquorice. So, for a year I drink only herbs and a bitter coffee. Simultaneously I was working on my smoking. At that time I stopped to smoke cigarettes and used only an e-cigarette. I was decreasing the amount of nicotine to about 3 mg. At that time I was aware that my smoking was a strong physical addiction.
